How emphc can help you
Introducing our services
(all FREE of charge)
Pregnancy Tests (urine) and Options Counseling
Absolutely free and with no strings attached. We help you sort through all of your pregnancy options with facts and compassion. We do not perform ultrasounds, but we can refer you to area clinics that provide them. Please text 817-237-1819 for an appointment, or call 817-237-1819 during business hours.
Proof of Pregnancy Forms
If your test is positive, we can provide a form indicating the result. This helps you qualify for other services you might need.
Pregnancy Options and Lay Counseling
We understand that unplanned pregnancies, relationships, and parenting can be stressful and difficult to navigate. Our lay counselors are kind and caring, always willing to talk with you about whatever you might be going through.
Virtual and In-Person Education
Our best-in-class virtual education comes right to your phone and can be done at your convenience. We also offer live virtual classes as well as in-person educational opportunities. Topics include information about relationships, STDs/STIs, pregnancy, birth, handling finances, getting and keeping a job, co-parenting, and much more! Best of all, completing these educational courses can earn you points to shop for maternity and baby items in our Heartbeat Boutique.
Fatherhood Mentorship Program
Studies show that when fathers are positively involved in their children's lives (regardless of whether the father and mother are still together), the emotional, educational, and social outcomes for the child or children are greatly improved. EMPHC provides a male mentor that offers educational and emotional support to participating fathers. Participation can earn points to shop at the Heartbeat Boutique.
Community Resource Referrals
We recognize that sometimes our clients need more help beyond the scope of our services, so we offer referrals to whatever resources you might need.
adoption options
If you’re wondering whether adoption might be the right choice, you don’t have to sort through your options alone. Our compassionate, knowledgeable staff is here to provide clear information, answer your questions, provide resources and options for local adoption clinics, and walk you through what adoption can look like, so you can make a confident, informed decision that’s best for you and your baby.
Maternity and Baby Supplies
Our Heartbeat Boutique is stocked with many of the quality maternity and baby supplies needed for expecting mothers and parents of children from 0 months to four (4) years of age. Items include, but not limited to: maternity clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, strollers, shoes, etc. Availability of these items depends on inventory. Items are earned through our "Earn-As-You-Learn" Client Education Program. Ask us about it today!
What can I expect?
You can expect friendly faces, individualized care, compassion, and understanding from our staff. Our facility is clean, comfortable, and has a play area for young children. During your first visit, you'll meet with your Client Advocate who will assess your needs, and, if applicable, explain your pregnancy choices. Furthermore, your Client Advocate will explain our program to you if you are interested and offer you any other resources you might require.
